UFC Strickland vs. Magomedov reader picks
Who ya got for this weekend?
Another week another UFC card with not a lot of name value. It does have Sean Strickland, though, who is a talented fighter and an awful-quote machine. He meets Abus Magomedov in a bout that screams “I just want to stay busy”.
Strickland has everything to lose in this bout with a win meaning very little and a loss effectively ending his chance at jumping over fellow middleweights who are chasing Isrtael Adesanya and Robert Whittaker.
The remainder of the card is mostly international talent, including the impressive until he wasn’t Alexandr Romanov (who fights Blagoy Ivanov) and Ariane Lipski who is yet to live up to her ‘violence queen’ rep (she takes on Melissa Gato).
The returning Kevin Lee is here, too, buried on the prelims. He faces Rinat Fakhretdinov.
