Nobody does it better. I’m very grateful that this SubStack exists.

Much appreciated. We're trying to figure out the right mix of content. Our subscribers seem to be more interested in audios than podcasts but we're trying to reach the right %. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I’ve always enjoyed both mediums, if for somewhat different reasons. I find podcasts excellent at covering things in a very conversational way, which allows for a good back and forth, while the written word always seems to hit home best for me when it’s some sort of a deep dive, long-form piece. However, one of my favourite things about SubStack is the ability to listen to the written posts as well. I’ve listened to many of the written MMA draw articles on my commutes or dog walks. It allows me to still consume the content when my day is very busy.

I almost lost it when Nate said Flywheel. That was Ari Emanuel’s phrase during an interview with CNBC. It was scary to me the guy doing the interview was represented by WME. Also I can attest to the Google stuff Nate talks about. When it was Indie Bloody Elbow I got 1 notification from Google. When it became Zombie BE it’s a little over 10 mentions since the sale. I’ve got to get Substack notifications going. I’m still getting emails.

We encourage both emails and notifications on Substack. There's a reason for this that we may elaborate on later...
